Jul 09, 2019 While Major League Baseball's All-Star Game is being held in Cleveland, one Ohio dad decided to bring baseball right to his own backyard. Jason Kidd (no, not former NBA star Jason Kidd) wanted to create some lasting memories with his five-year-old son while teaching him about the game he loves. Kidd told WKYC that his son asked about building a baseball field a couple years earlier while. Backyard University in York Pennsylvania offers private baseball and softball instruction, including but not limited to hitting, pitching, catching and fielding. We also offer camps and clinics, tournament teams, coaching and umpire seminars, field rentals, batting cage rentals, pitching lane rentals and birthday parties. With 9,500 feet of indoor turf, we are always available for your indoor.
