He was able to keep the Yankees off the scoreboard and mostly off the bases, only allowing 3 hits. He did so with excellent command and keeping most balls in play on the ground around the infield. On the offensive side of the field the Melonheads did most of their damage off of the bat of Amir. He belted two home runs, a 2 run in the first and a 3 run in the fourth. Alex hit his second home run in as many games and again it didn’t leave the park. Although this time he split the outfielders and was able to hustle around the bases.
